Rural Planning and Development Open House for Prospective Students

2021 Rural Symposium

The Rural Symposium is an annual opportunity for University of Guelph graduate students to showcase their rural research to policy makers, policy analysts, and program staff from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA). The event facilitates knowledge mobilisation and network building between graduate students at the University of Guelph, researchers, and OMAFRA . This year's event will be hosted online through Zoom and will profile projects funded through the Ontario Agri-food Innovation Alliance and other OMAFRA supported research. 

Deadline to apply for S21 Undergraduate Research Assistantship positions

The School of Environmental Design and Rural Development has three Undergraduate Research Assistantships (URA’s) available for Summer 2021.  Please apply directly through Experience Guelph website by February 15. 1. RPD Virtual Town Hall Meeting

The Rural Planning and Development program is hosting a virtual town hall meeting with all current RPD students on February 23 from 12.00-1.00 pm EST. The meeting is an opportunity to check-in, receive program updates, discuss upcoming opportunities, celebrate achievements, and ask your questions. Instructions for joining the discussion are available on Courselink and will be circulated via email in advance of the meeting.
