Guelph Landscape Architecture Graduates Receive 2016 Convocation Awards

Congratulations to our recent graduates in landscape architecture who received awards at the Ontario Agricultural College convocation awards luncheon held on June 16, 2016 at the University of Guelph.

The Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA) Prize was presented to Bachelor of Landscape Architecture graduate, Michelle Peeters and to Master of Landscape Architecture graduate, Laura Williams, by CSLA past-president and Professor of Landscape Architecture at the University of Guelph, Cecelia Paine, FCSLA, OALA, FASLA.

The Chanasyk Medal for Professionalism was presented to Bachelor of Landscape Architecture graduate, Corin Latimer and Master of Landscape Architecture graduate, Scott Cafarella, by Linda Irvine, FCSLA, OALA.  Linda is Manager of Parks and Open Space Development for the Town of Markham, and niece of the late Professor Victor Chanasyk, founder of the School of Landscape Architecture at the University of Guelph.
