Guelph Book Launch: Mourning Nature: Hope at the Heart of Ecological Loss and Grief

New book edited by Prof Karen Landman & Ashlee Cunsolo entitled "Mourning Nature:  Hope at the Heart of Ecological Loss and Grief". Book launch will take place Tuesday, May 30th, 2017 at 7:00 pm at the Bookshelf, 41 Quebec Street, Guelph.

Ashlee Cunsolo is director of the Labrador Institute and an adjunct professor at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Karen Landman is professor of landscape architecture at the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development at the University of Guelph.

Landscape Architecture Students Attended University of Maryland for 47th Annual LABash Conference

A group of landscape architecture students recently took a trip down to the University of Maryland from March 23rd - 25th for the 47th annual LABash conference. LABash (originally founded in 1970 at the University of Guelph) is an annual student-planned conference for landscape architecture students and professionals in North America. This year, the University of Guelph had the second highest representation at the conference with a total of 16 students attending.

World Landscape Architecture Month 2017 Poster Competition Announced

Every April, the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA) and the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) celebrate World Landscape Architecture Month (WLAM), which brings recognition and awareness to the profession, landscape architects, and works of landscape architecture in Canada.  One of the key communication tools is the CSLA World Landscape Architecture Month poster.
