UG LA 50 Logo Design Competition

please spread the word to your former classmates and other Guelph LA Alumni....thank you.

CALLING ALL LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE STUDENTS and ALUMNI!

In September 2015 we will be celebrating 50 years of Landscape Architecture at the University of Guelph! We are seeking creative LA Alumni as well as BLA and MLA students to design an innovative, professional, and a versatile logo for the celebrations.

THE LEGACY
Landscape Architecture was established in 1965 at the University of Guelph and was the first LA program in Canada. Until then, programs in the field were only available in the United States and overseas. Take part in celebrating the important history of Landscape Architecture at Guelph by creating a logo for our upcoming events!

The contest begins on Friday March 6, 2015. The winner will be announced on our forthcoming event website.
In order for your entry to be submitted and viewed by the judges, all entries must be:

1. Submitted to Diana Foolen, dfoolen@uoguelph.ca as a ‘.pdf’ file.
2. Please include your name and contact information.

LOGO REQUIREMENTS
The logo design should be dynamic, unique and incorporate the number, “50” as well as make reference to Landscape Architecture at the University of Guelph. There are no limitations on choice of colour or font type. This is an opportunity to let your creativity soar! Please note that the Landscape Architecture programs reside in the School of Environmental Design & Rural Development.

The design should be professional and legible as it will be featured on our event website, on the cover of our “50 years” book, any commemorative items and on other social media platforms.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE
We ask that you submit your design concept by 11:59 p.m. March 22, 2015.
