U of G Garden Gander

Wellness@Work is launching a summer walking series, exploring U of G’s beautiful gardens. Join us every Tuesday until the end of August for a guided walk through the picturesque gardens and landscapes on campus. John Reinhart, Grounds Manager, will take participants on a noon hour walk to explore different gardens and trees on our campus.  Each week will feature a different area of campus with more to discover.  Come learn about new plantings, plant problems, botany, history of plantings and more!

United Way Fill-a-Bus Event

Ever wonder where your United Way donations go? What they make possible in our community? All U of G Staff, Faculty, Students, Retirees & Supporters are invited to see first-hand on August 16th, 2018 from 11:00am-1:00pm. Join us as we Fill-a-Bus and tour two United Way-funded agencies in Guelph.

Smoke-Free U of G Consultation

U of G is transitioning to be a smoke-free campus in Spring 2019.  We recognize that this new policy will have an impact on those who smoke on the main campus and we want to hear from you.  Please join the 1.5h smoke-free consultation session to share your questions, comments and concerns.

Blood Donor Clinic- Ridgetown

A blood donor clinic will be held at the Ridgetown Campus. Visit to sign-up for a time to donate: https://blood.ca/en.  Give the gift of life to another person by donating blood.

Zumba @ the Community Engaged Scholarship Institute

Do you like to dance? Join the Community Engaged Scholarship Institute (CESI) for 4 free outdoor Zumba® classes this summer! These classes are for all ages and abilities and will be taught by a certified Zumba® instructor. We had a blast at the classes in June and July, and are looking forward to the next class on Friday, August 10th at 12pm on the lawn behind CESI at 17 University Avenue East. If you're not able to join us right at 12pm, come by whenever you can - we will be dancing until 12:45!
