Blood Donor Clinic

BLOOD DONORS NEEDED IMMEDIATELY Approximately every minute of every day, someone in Canada needs blood. In fact, per a recent poll, 52 per cent of Canadians say they, or a family member, have needed blood or blood products for surgery or for medical treatment. In Guelph alone, we need over 1000 new blood donors this year to make sure that we have enough blood on hand for local patients. Across Canada, over 100, 000 new blood donors are need this year as each year 40% of our donors do not return.

Every parent wants their child to be happy and successful at school. Many working parents struggle with knowing how to support their children with school-related activities. This session invites participants to seek a partnership between each child, the school and themselves as parents. Having Difficult Conversations for Staff

The ability to have difficult conversations is an essential skill that enables us to clear the air so that we can be productive at work. With practice, this skill can be developed. Difficult conversations tend to be associated with a negative outcome or a confrontation; but there are ways to have a difficult conversation that has a productive outcome. Productive doesn’t mean agreement; it means a change for the collective good.
