Drop in with a colleague and spend some time connecting with one another while recharging from the long weekend and taking your break. The Take Your Break event is not just about recognizing our staff and faculty for all the amazing things they do by providing them with drinks. It is also about making the space to engage in healthy work habits, step away from our workspaces to take a walk, and do it with our colleagues to support our mental and social well-being.
Leaders play a critical role in setting the tone for how employees experience the workplace. The way you respond when team members are stressed, struggling, or open about mental health challenges is fundamental to building trust and supporting employee success.
Take a break in your day and join us for some movement in nature. This outdoor class, taught by a Personal Trainer from Athletics, will focus on body weight strength and mobility exercises. Exercise options will be given to ensure anyone can participate. All are welcome and no experience is required. Please bring your own mat if you desire, and your water bottle as needed.
