To our valued clients, we hope everyone enjoys this upcoming long weekend. In Ontario this is a holiday and AHL will be closed Monday August 3^rd. Submission drop off at AHL Guelph is available from 7AM to 8PM everyday including Sundays and Holidays. AHL Guelph is open and specimen room staffed on Saturday August 1^st from 9AM to 5PM for regular Saturday testing (limited Clinical Pathology and Bacteriology) and emergency Post Mortem submissions.

AHL is pleased to announce that all virus neutralization testing except Avian adenovirus, FAdV08/FAdV11 is now available once again at AHL. All cases with pending results will be queued for testing.

Closure of AHL Guelph Postmortem Suite Thursday June 18^th for approximately 12 days.

AHL Guelph is about to embark on a construction project of a much needed redo of the floors in the Postmortem suite. As a result, the contractors have been lined up and the final dates have been set.

Here are a few updates from AHL:

May 1 is the beginning of AHL's new fiscal year. A new hard copy Fee schedule and User guide will be available but slightly delayed. Current clients will receive one in the mail when available. 1. As an essential service, AHL is open and continues to operate with reduced staffing. We have altered working hours with two shifts in some areas to make sure we have proper physical distancing and to keep up with the workload.To concentrate on priority tests, we have for the time being discontinued most virus neuralization testing.
