College of Biological Science
The only one of its kind in Canada and among a handful worldwide. The three departments teach approximately 15,000 undergraduate enrolments and advise over 240 graduate students each year. Specifically under the College of Biological Science, BAS students can specialize in Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Ecology, Functional Foods & Nutraceuticals, Microbiology, Molecular Biology & Genetics, Neuroscience, Plant Biology and Zoology.
