Graduate Programs

We offer graduate education at the master's and PhD levels including fine art, languages, history, philosophy and other disciplines. The College of Arts offers a minimum guaranteed funding level for full-time doctoral students of $26,000 per year for four years. LEARN MORE

The College of Arts invites applications to our new Hard Questions Fund,

offering one grant per academic year of up to $5,000 for a cross-unit collaborative research initiative.

The Fund is intended to spark and enhance cross-disciplinary approaches to pressing questions of broad interest that will engage researchers from across the College.

Michael R. (Mike) Weiss

We are sad to announce the loss of Michael R. (Mike) Weiss, a University of Guelph alumnus and generous benefactor to the College of Arts.

Mike was a great friend to the College and a strong supporter of theatre student scholarships and the new Arts Research Centre (ARC), the home for performing arts.
