Deadline to register: Prud'homme Beer Certification - Level 1 Beer Enthusiast

Open to the Public: This introductory course in beer education is designed for participants interested in furthering their knowledge and interest in beer. The focus will be on brewing ingredients and processes, tasting concepts, pouring and serving concepts (including an introduction to draught systems) and food and beer pairings. Level 1 will be held on Sunday’s February 5th – 26th from 1 – 4 p.m at PJ's Restaurant - Macdonald Stewart Hall . Registration deadline is January 23, 2017.

Deadline to register: Canadian Brewing Traditions

Join us for a fun beer tasting afternoon! Focusing on the rich beer traditions entrenched in our nation’s history. The rise, fall and current resurgence of beer in Canada. John Molson & John Labatt were real guys, how Prohibition varied across the country and where we are headed with beer. The team at Escarpment Labs will join us to talk about the exciting work they do with brewing yeast, and how they are helping Ontario brewers tackle some new ground. HAFA/HFTM Career Networking Night

HAFA/HFTM Alumni Career Networking Night continues to be a success thanks to the enthusiastic participation from our alumni and students.  Our fantastic Alumni are excited to come back to the School to meet and share their career experiences with our students. The format of the evening will include round table discussions between alumni and students with each table focusing on a specific career area of interest to students.

HFTM Annual Job Expo

The HFTM Job Expo connects hundreds of students to over 25 organizations annually. The Expo is open to any student enrolled in an HTM course. Hear about how business value can be created from research funded by the OMAFRA - U of G Partnership. Network and share strategic ideas on enhancing Ontario's research and innovation strengths, opportunities and alliances and be inspired by some of Ontario's up-and-coming researchers and innovators.
