Once complete, you will have access to the online exam. Upon receiving your login information, you will have 30 days to complete the course.

Learn about Pepper, the world’s most popular spice. Pepper is an ingredient found in every kitchen and as a condiment on virtually every dining table. It is used in the preparation of countless recipes and is sprinkled on foods as a condiment, often without much thought.  Beyond its culinary uses as a spice, pepper plays an important role in the preservation of cold meats.  The essential oil of pepper contains piperine, a pharmacologically active ingredient used in medicines, insect repellents and popular perfumes.

This introductory course in beer education is designed for participants interested in furthering their knowledge and interest in beer. The focus will be on brewing ingredients and processes, tasting concepts, pouring and serving concepts (including an introduction to draught systems) and food and beer pairings.
