Simon Day Takes on NYC at the James Beard House
On May 21st, Simon Day along with Guelph chefs, winners of U of G's Good Food Innovation Awards are off to cook and showcase their work at the James Beard House in New York's Greenwich Village.
The James Beard House is a performance space for visiting chefs to showcase their work, with proceeds supporting the non-profit James Beard Foundation.
Chefs are chosen by a committee for reputation and excellence, and use of high-quality seasonal and/or local ingredients and this is the first time that a university has been invited to cook there.
