HFTM Students Prepare for the Sustainable Hospitality Challenge

Posted on Monday, October 26th, 2020

We are pleased to share that the School of Hospitality, Food and Tourism Management within the LANG School of Business and Economics has joined the Sustainable Hospitality Challenge 2020. This international event is the evolution of the former Genio Worldwide Innovation Summit based out of the Hotelschool The Hague; the Hotelschool has now partnered with the International Hotel Investment Forum to create and host an even larger opportunity for the top hospitality students from around the world.

Congratulations to our student team, Tanya Broschinski, Katelyn Sheffield, and Allison Black who will be representing the School in this competition under the guidance of Professor William Murray.

Our team has just received their initial case study for the qualifying round and will be working hard over the next 6 weeks, with hopes to move forward to the quarter finals in January 2021!
