WSET Level 2 Award in Wines ONLINE

The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 2 in Wines is intended for beginners wishing to learn about a wide range of wines or those seeking to build on the introductory knowledge gained with the WSET Level 1 Award in Wines. You’ll gain knowledge of the principal and regionally important grape varieties of the world, the regions in which they are grown, and the styles of wine they produce. You will explore factors that impact style and quality and learn how to describe these wines with confidence.WSET Level 2 Image

Each course has a set start and finish date, along with guidelines on progression. Students are free to log-in and complete their learning hours at times that suit them. You will have access to our course educator who will provide feedback on assigned exercises and respond to course related inquiries.

Students will learn through a range of independent and/or group activities (tasting area, multiple choice feedback tests), supported by videos and quizzes, designed to achieve the required learning outcomes to prepare for the examination. Q&A forums allow students to interact with others on the same course, which is monitored by our course educator. There will be live zoom classes and a zoom tasting class.

Level 2 Wines is based around a 5-week, 6 module online learning program with educator support available for the time period. The course structure allows you to work ahead or catch up on the activites and forums. The course material should take about 30 hours in total to complete, plus revision time.

Regular access and participation in the course online activities is essential. All course material will be mailed to you and the course is taught in English.
