Title: Are you ready to publish your first (next) paper: some thoughts and help on academic publishing
Abstract:
For your research to be recognised and have impact in the scholarly community it needs to be published. Traditionally, the most recognised forms for publishing scholarly research are peer-reviewed journals, scholarly books, and chapters in edited collections. Whether you are working on your first manuscript to be published or you have already published several articles and chapters, the publishing process can be somewhat daunting and confusing. In this presentation you will hear some insights about the publishing process, some do’s and don’t’s, and some “I wish I’d known that before I submitted my manuscript to a journal.”
