Poster Design Capacity Building Session

Ever wondered how to design a poster for a conference presentation or what is the most effective way to share research findings through posters? On February 27 a poster design capacity building session will be held from 12:00 - 1:00 pm in the LA Pit with Shannon Brown. The session will identify best practices for designing posters, how to effectively share findings, and discuss what types of information to be displayed. The session is being organized in preparation for the upcoming 2019 Rural Symposium, however, anyone interested in poster design is welcome to attend the session.

LA Workshop: Mansoor Ma - "Designing in 3D"

Mansoor Ma, workshop author and instructor, will continue with his Design Workshop series for the Winter semester. Designing in 3D – Using Advanced SketchUp Techniques More details on the workshop to be announced shortly. This 5-day workshop will help participants incorporate 3D modeling into the design process, adjusting the long held tradition that 3D modeling is to be used towards the end of a project for producing beautiful rendering only. Two core objectives of this workshop:
