Free 15 Minute Massages

Receive a massage from students of the Cambridge School of Massage Therapy.  Massages are over the clothes.  Registration is required.  Phone ext 58317 or email massage@uoguelph.ca.  Appointments will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

Pilates for All Fitness Levels (Free)

The Pilates method focuses on core strengthening, breath, and alignment.  This well-known exercise technique helps participants gain awareness of body alignment while strengthening key core and pelvic muscles to support posture and heatlhy spinal movement. Exercises will be modified for any known injuries. Please note that the class will begin at 12:10 p.m. and end at 12:50 p.m. When you show-up at Athletics, front-desk staff will direct you to change rooms and the location of the class.

SafeTalk Training

SafeTALK is an alertness training that prepares anyone, regardless of prior experience or training, to become a suicide-alert helper. The SafeTALK trainer will demonstrate the importance of suicide alertness and help participants identify ways people invite help when they’re at risk. Program focus:

Join your colleagues in a fusion class of Pilates, yoga and foam rolling that will improve core strength, posture and create a balanced body.   When you show-up at Athletics, front-desk staff will direct you to change rooms and the location of the class.   To attend this class, you must be a staff or faculty member of the University of Guelph.  You do not have to be a member of the Guelph Gryphons Athletics Centre.
