This webinar is being offered by CMHA Waterloo Wellington.  The COVID-19 pandemic has changed how we live, work, connect and also how we manage our stress levels through self-care.  We are unable to engage in the activities we normally would, such as going to the gym, spa, out for lunch with a friend, playing organized sports or engaging in a bit of retail therapy.  Self-care is essential in order to maintain good mental health. During this webinar we will discuss self-care strategies that we can engage in despite physical distancing restrictions.

This program is offered by Kathy Somers from the Stress Management & High Performance Clinic. This group program meets twice a week for 6 weeks (12 sessions in total) to maximize the opportunity to practice and develop strong skills in releasing body tension, and calming and focusing the mind. This educational program emphasizes skill acquisition and education about stress management and high performance. This is not a self-disclosure or therapy group; the purpose is skills practice.
