U of G on Tour: Honey Bee Research Centre

The University of Guelph Honey Bee Research Centre is a leader in apiculture, research and education. Honey bees play a key role in agricultural productivity and ecosystem sustainability by providing pollination services to crops and wild plants. Our mandate is to help honey bees continue this vital work.

U of G On Tour: Guelph Centre for Urban Organic Farming

The Guelph Centre for Urban Organic Farming (GCUOF) is a one-hectare learning and research facility established by the Ontario Agricultural College within the Department of Plant Agriculture at the University of Guelph and is a certified organic farm. 

Compassion Resilience Committee: Coffee, Chats and Snacks

Join us for a Compassion Resilience Project event: Coffee, Chats, and Snacks! Facilitators Jana Michaud and Myles St-Denis will lead a compassionate chat circle over coffee and snacks. What are Compassionate Chat Circles (CCC)?  A safe space for peer-to-peer support within the animal care and use community. The CCC are NOT run by mental health professionals and are not a counseling group. This resource is for: U of G faculty, staff, and students working directly or in-directly with animals

Science of Happiness (Homewood Health)

This summer, join our EFAP provider, Homewood Health to learn about the Science of Happiness. Scientific studies have shown that 50% of our individual differences in happiness are determined by our genes, 10% by our life circumstances, and 40% by our intentional activities. This one-hour session will introduce participants to some of the research-based “happy habits” that can be adopted to increase levels of happiness and well-being.

Mindfulness at Work

Mindfulness at Work is focused on cultivating mindfulness to enhance the experience at work and in all facets of life. Managing Headaches - A Nutrition and Lifestyle approach

Join us for an engaging and practical workshop on how lifestyle and nutrition can help prevent and manage headaches. We'll explore common triggers and risk factors, and examine current research on the connection between daily habits, nutrients, and headache prevention.
