Megan Wilson & Mark Lipton

SSHRC Storytellers competition

On behalf of the School of English and Theatre Studies, congratulations to Megan Wilson who was among the top 25 in the SSHRC Storytellers competition.  This is a tremendous honour.  Megan, a research assistant on Mark Lipton's Privacy Stories, will enter the MA program in the Fall.

PHD STUDENT PROFILE

Kent Smith earned a BAH (2014) and MA (2015) in English Literature, and is currently in his first year of the PhD program at the University of Guelph.

2016 Giller Awards

Professor Lawrence Hill (on right) was a member of the panel judging the 2016 Giller Prize, one of the top literary awards in the world.  He invited two senior students from his creative writing class--Connor Spearman and Nadia Teh--to join him at the Gala for the Giller Prize held in Toronto on 7 November 2016.
