The 51st annual Juried Art Show (JAS) is hosting its Silent Auction fundraiser on Sunday, February 9th, from 2 to 5 pm at The Boarding Gallery, downtown Guelph! There will be live music, free food catered, and, of course, GREAT ART!
Details
The artwork available for bidding is donated by the University of Guelph's Studio Art faculty, graduates, and undergrads. The auction will be open from 2 to 4 pm, after which the winning bidders will be announced. Guests may also purchase raffle tickets during this time, to win one of several art prizes. Winners will be announced following the auction.
Tickets are available at the door, $10 for guests and $5 for students. Please note we will only accept cash or cheque payments.
The Juried Art Show is a major annual public exhibition of student artwork from the University of Guelph's Studio Art program. Entirely student-run, JAS is one of the oldest shows of it's kind in Canada, and a long-running UoG tradition. This year JAS will be running March 15-17th in Zavitz Hall and Alexander.
