The University of Guelph recognizes the importance of extracurricular activities for an individual's maturity and the well-being of the community. This position is clearly visible in the university’s support of student organizations, fundraising for charities and the recognition of volunteering efforts and contributions to community life. In addition, extracurricular activities clearly can enhance resumes and so increase the chances of being hired.
Here we provide examples of three organizations on campus that relate to our majors. However, we also encourage you to have a close look at the diversity of student organizations that are officially registered at the university. For a complete list of all student clubs associated with OAC and events hosted by them, please visit this website.
We hope you will find the perfect spot for you!
