Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. Canadian properties are pleased to announce, the 2014 Starwood Management Trainee Program. The recruitment season has started, with the position now LIVE on Starwood.Jobs.
The management training program exposes graduates to the places, people and practices that will help set the foundation for success throughout their careers. This one-year training program combines practical experience with professional development, mentoring and a rotation through operations and support departments.
Trainees will concentrate in Rooms or Food & Beverage Division at one of the participating Canadian hotels. Participating hotels this year are Le Centre Sheraton (Rooms,) Sheraton Gateway Hotel (Culinary,) Westin Harbour Castle (Rooms,) Westin Edmonton (Rooms,) Westin Bayshore (Rooms,) Sheraton Centre Toronto (Rooms,) and Westin Ottawa (Rooms, Food and Beverage.) Every effort will be made to match a candidate's geographic and department preferences. Candidates are strongly encouraged to be flexible about their preferences to increase their likelihood of placement.
The recruitment period for the Canadian Management Trainee program begins now through January 6, 2014, with the program commencing in May. Trainee opportunities are limited to students graduating from hospitality and tourism programs with work authorization in Canada.
