Heart Smart Stress Management $

A truly heart healthy lifestyle is more than exercise and diet. The third and most important key (according to cardiologists Eliot, Bhat, Ornish and others) is stress management. Yet this component is the most neglected! Learn practical stress management strategies that decrease your risk of cardiovascular disease (especially helpful for those with risk factors of high blood pressure, diabetes, anxiety, depression, tendency to hold onto anger, or a family history of heart attack or stroke). The workshop includes:

Canadian Red Cross CPR Level C/AED Certification

This course includes CPR training for adults, children and babies. It includes choking for conscious and unconscious, adult, children and babies. EpiPen and Naloxone training and certification in AED (automatic external defibrillation). Certification is valid for three years. Wellness@Work will be covering the cost of $80 so it free to attendees.  Registration Register through Qualtrics! Registration is limited to 20 participants.

Strength and Stretch: Mobility for Your Golf Swing

Improve your mobility, flexibility, and movement patterns to help support a stronger, smoother golf swing. Led by Garrett Watkins, this session will combine targeted strength work and guided stretching designed to enhance rotational mobility, stability, and overall movement efficiency both on and off the course. Whether you are looking to improve performance, reduce stiffness, or support injury prevention, this class is a great addition to your golf and fitness routine.

U of G on Tour: Luckevich Pinchin Honey Bee Research Centre

Welcome to the beautiful new facility at the Luckevich Pinchin Honey Bee Research Centre. The University of Guelph Honey Bee Research Centre is a leader in apiculture, research, and education. Honey bees play a key role in agricultural productivity and ecosystem sustainability by providing pollination services to crops and wild plants. Our mandate is to help honey bees continue this vital work.

Strength and Stretch: Mobility for Your Tennis Swing

Enhance your mobility, flexibility, and overall movement to support a stronger, more efficient tennis swing. Led by Garrett Watkins, this class combines targeted strength exercises and guided stretching to help improve rotational mobility, stability, balance, and recovery for on-court performance. Whether you are looking to move more freely, build strength, or reduce stiffness and injury risk, this session is suitable for all experience levels. Join us on June 23, 2026, from 12:10–12:50 p.m. in the NRG Zone located within the Athletics Centre. 

Pop Up Employee Colouring and Connect

Community Connect and Colouring is a relaxed lunchtime gathering for University of Guelph staff and faculty to take a creative break, connect with colleagues, and unwind over adult colouring pages in a welcoming, low-pressure environment. Whether attendees come on their own or with a colleague, the goal is to create a comfortable space for casual connection, quiet creativity, and a bit of midday recharge. Colouring materials will be provided and participants are welcome to bring their own art projects.

Establishing Work/Life Harmony

Many of us feel overwhelmed by competing work and family demands. This session will help participants identify their key work/life stressors, clarify their values, and develop skills and strategies to effectively prioritize their time and energy.
