Building Emotional Awareness

This welcoming, in-person 1-hour workshop invites university staff and faculty to explore the fundamentals of emotions with curiosity, compassion, and practical care. Participants will build an accessible understanding of the science of emotions by examining the many factors that influence emotional responses—such as lived experiences, stress, relationships, environment, and nervous system states—rather than viewing emotions as something to “fix” or control.

Pilates Reformer Class

Take your Pilates workouts to the next level. The Pilates Reformer is a versatile, bed‑like machine featuring a moving platform called a carriage, which glides along tracks. The carriage is connected to resistance springs, allowing you to tailor the intensity of your movements through controlled, low‑impact exercises. Expect a focus on strength, flexibility, core stability, and body awareness, with guided instruction that makes the class suitable for both beginners and returning participants. All levels welcome.
