History of Philosophy at Guelph

The Philosophy Department at Guelph offers the opportunity to study topics and thinkers in the Ancient, Medieval, and Early Modern Periods. These were formative periods in the development of Western thought and the philosophers we study posed fundamental questions that still drive philosophical inquiry. Our historians of philosophy are all active researchers and teachers in these areas, and we have graduate and undergraduate students who undertaking research in these key historical periods.
