On October 11 from 2:40 to 4:30 in 104 Johnson Hall, the Rural History Roundtable welcomes Dr. Ashleigh Androsoff: “Pulling Together, Pulling Apart: Doukhobor Communalism, Canadian Liberalism, and Land Settlement in Western Canada, 1899-1924.” Dr. Ashleigh Androsoff defended her dissertation, "Spirit Wrestling: Identity Conflict and the Canadian 'Doukhobor Problem', 1899-1999” at the University of Toronto in February of this year, and is currently teaching at Saint Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
