David Brock (Graduated in 2007)
 
David Brock is an up-and-coming playwright who lives in Toronto, where he works as a Communications instructor at The University of Guelph Humber. His recent chapbook, Gasmask Summer, was released by the Emergency Response Unit. His play, Wet, premiered at the 2010 Toronto Fringe Festival.
Jaime Forsythe (Graduated in 2007)

 

Jaime Forsythe’s fiction and poetry have appeared in Kiss Machine, Exile and the Antigonish Review, and she edited the antholtogy Transits: Stories From In-Between (Invisible Publishing). She lives in Toronto.
 
Nila Gupta (Graduated in 2007)

 

Nila Gupta's first book of inter-linked short stories, The Sherpa and Other Fictions, was published by Sumach Press in spring, 2008. This title was shortlisted for the Commonwealth Writers' Prize for Best First Book in the Canada & Caribbean Region.

Jeff’s first collection of poetry, Tiny, Frantic, Stronger, was published by Insomniac Press this year. Jeff is the winner of the 2007 P. K. Page Founders' Award, the
2008 Great Canadian Literary Hunt, and a finalist for the 2008 RBC Bronwen Wallace Award.
 
Jacob McArthur Mooney (Graduated in 2007)

Jake is the author of the poetry collection, The New Layman's Almanac, published by McClelland & Stewart, Ltd. Jake’s second book of poems, titled Folk, also with M&S, is forthcoming; it will be off-press in Spring 2011. He is also the creator of the poetry blog Vox Populism.

 

 
Motion (Graduated in 2007)

 

Motion is a Toronto-based writer, musician, hip-hop artist, and spoken-word poet. Her first collection of poetry, Motion in Poetry (and the companion CD, The Audio Xperience), was published by Women’s Press in 2002. Motion’s second collection, 40 Dayz, was released in 2008.

Sandy Pool (Graduated in 2007)

Sandy Pool is a writer and multi-disciplinary artist who is currently working toward her PhD at The University of Calgary in the Sandy’s first collection of poetry, Exploding Into Night, was published by Guernica Editions in 2009. Exploding Into Night is a 2010 Governor General’s Award Poetry Nominee. Congratulations, Sandy!
