CANCELLED- Wednesday Walks at the Arboretum

Nature is known to be unpredictable and unexpected, so what awaits us today?  Rachel, the Arboretum's Naturalist Intern, leads 1 hour long walks every Wednesday year-round.  Walks start at The Arboretum kiosk at 12:15 p.m.   The hike may be cancelled if there is inclement weather.   Please check the Arboretum's Facebook and Instagram page for a notice if the weekly walk is cancelled due to weather.  For further information contact Sally at scheun06@uoguelph.ca or ext. 52363.

For this session we will partner with a local Real Estate Expert. Investing in real estate is an exciting proposition for many people who value their own homeownership. Most people associate the word real estate with their own home or possibly with a vacation property. But a residential real estate rental property can be a viable investment opportunity for many people – and you don't need to be a million-dollar real estate mogul to get started.

ONLINE- Free Classical Yoga Class Every Tuesday

Classical Yoga is a particularly effective and efficient system to not only stretch, tone and develop the muscles but stimulate robust health in all systems of the body.  Regular practice can relieve stress and anxiety and promote mental concentration.

CANCELLED- Cinq à Sept Social at Brass Taps

Starting in February, Brass Taps has launched a new staff and faculty Friday social each week called Cinq à Sept.  Every Friday, from 4-8pm employees can go to Brass Taps to socialize and connect.  Free appetizers will be provided by Brass Taps and drink specials will be available.  Bring your colleagues and stop by!   On the last Friday of each month, there will be something fun programmed, in addition to the regular social time.

ONLINE- Spring Equinox 2020 Classical Yoga and Meditation

The Classical Yoga for Total Health and Awareness group on campus is hosting a special Spring Equinox Yoga event for all employees. Spring has arrived. Let us welcome it! We are going to welcome it by celebrating 2020 Spring Equinox Classical Yoga Hour Thursday March 26 at noon, by uprooting the FEAR, bringing Hope, Discriminating Wisdom and Certainty. This event is going to be Streamed LIVE. Join over the lunch hour and enjoy the guided yoga and meditation practices. No prior experience required.

Improvisational theatre (improv) is unscripted, spontaneous storytelling built on principles like say yes, fail often and support your fellow players.  Join Andrea Buchholz in this fun and interactive session to learn more about how these principles work in improv and how they apply in real life too.  Get ready to say yes!
