School of Hospitality, Food & Tourism Management professor wins Excellence Award for Service

School of Hospitality, Food and Tourism Management professor Bruce McAdams was recently recognized for his work within the realm of responsible management education at the 4th PRME Regional Meeting North America, hosted at the University of Guelph. McAdams was one of three recipients of the PRME Excellence Awards, which recognize the ongoing efforts of individuals in advancing the six United Nations Principles for PRME in the areas research, teaching and service.

School Offers Two-Week Field Study Course In Nepal

As part of our commitment to experiential learning, the School is offering a two-week field study course in Nepal on sustainable tourism and social entrepreneurship. Five students, along with Professor Joan Flaherty, will join counterparts from Purdue University to discuss and experience these key themes while trekking in the Himalayas.
