2021 OAC 3MT Competition
Date and Time
Remote via Zoom.
The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a competition for graduate students in which participants present their research and its wider impact in three minutes or less to a panel of non-specialist judges. The challenge is to present complex research in an engaging, accessible and compelling way, using only one slide. This is an excellent opportunity for students to showcase their research to a wider audience, improve their oral presentation skills and to build excitement for research that is happening here at Guelph! Presentations from 2019 Canadian 3MT® Finalists can be viewed on the Canadian Association of Graduate Studies website.
For the 2021 University of Guelph 3MT® Competition, each college will hold a competition to decide upon two finalists, who will advance to the University of Guelph Final.
The prizes for the OAC competition are: 1st Place: $500, 2nd Place: $250, 3rd Place: $100 and gift cards for all participants.
Students are to register by March 26, 2021 by filling out the 3MT registration form here.
