Soon the peonies and irises will be blooming, and don't you wish you knew how to photograph them?  Photographer Sylvia Galbraith will teach you how to take inspired flower photos.  We'll discuss lighting, composing your photo, working with colours, taking close-up images, and which equipment works best for garden and wildflower photography.  We'll explore black and white for flower photography, abstract shapes and textures, and how different camera settings can be used for creative effects.  The second half of the workshop will be outside, where we'll photograph the woods and gardens of the Arboretum.  With this course you will be able to enjoy your garden all year! Bring your camera and dress for the weather. Basic to intermediate level. film or digital, SLR or point & shoot cameras.  A tripod is recommended.
