If you are interested in horses and possible career paths in the equine industry, then the annual Equine Career Night is for you! Held at the University of Guelph on March 7, 2019 between 7 and 9 PM, the Equine Career Night is organized by second-year students in Equine Management major of the Bachelor of Bio-Resource Management degree program. This is a fantastic opportunity for equine professionals, students, and employees to interact, learn from each other, and see the job opportunities in our complex industry.
The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a competition for graduate students in which participants present their research and its wider impact in three minutes or less to a panel of non-specialist judges. The challenge is to present complex research in an engaging, accessible and compelling way, using only one slide. This is an excellent opportunity for students to showcase their research to a wider audience, improve their oral presentation skills and to build excitement for research that is happening here at Guelph!
OAC alumni are invited to join this annual event at the Guelph Curling Club. Whether you competitive or playing just for fun, this is a great opportunity to reconnect with fellow OAC alumni. Registration is $280 per alumni team of 4, and lunch is included. Dinner only tickets are available for $30. Please note you must register as a team, with all teammates' names. When registering please advise if you would prefer to face social or competitive teams. Every team plays 2 games. Team Captains will be notified of assigned draw time one week before the bonspiel.
