The MA program offers two streams – a thesis-based stream and a course-based stream with a major research paper (MRP). The thesis-based stream is six semesters and the MRP stream is three semesters. Both options provide students with core knowledge about Art History and Visual Culture within an interdisciplinary research context beneficial for transition to higher levels of education and research and/or for careers in a variety of fields, such as art publishing, museum and gallery work, or government agencies.
