HFTM Takes Home Third Place at the Digital Restaurant Project Workshop
On March 14th and 15th, nine students travelled to Ryerson University to attend the Digital Restaurant Project workshop and compete in the annual Hospitality and Tourism Case Competition. Alyson Gregoire, Alexandre Brown, Simon Benevides, Meghan Wright, Emily Pritchard, Tom Beckett, Gina Yhip, Fanyi Wei, and Becky McIlroy competed against students from both Ryerson and the University of Quebec and Montreal (UQAM) to analyze either a hospitality or tourism case and make a formal presentation to a panel of judges.

ti, a HAFA 2004 graduate, is competing on Top Chef Canada which airs on Mondays at 9:00 pm ET/10:00 pm PT on Food Network Canada, beginning March 10th. Vittorio, 32, is the owner of his own food consulting company Born and Raised Food Co. in Toronto, and is in the process of opening his first restaurant.
