Employment and Partnerships

Seven MFA students per year have the opportunity to work as TAs for courses in the undergraduate Creative Writing program offered at the University of Guelph. Remuneration is set by the most recent CUPE 3913 Collective Agreement with the university. The Coordinator will send out a call for applications. Final hiring decisions are made by the School of English and Theatre Studies at the University of Guelph.

PHD STUDENT PROFILE - Mariah Hudec

mariah hudecMariah Hudec earned her BA (Hons) in History from Cape Breton University in 2013, and an MSc by Research in Scottish History from the University of Edinburgh in 2014. She is currently a PhD student in the School of English and Theatre Studies at the University of Guelph, and serves as the Book Review Editor for the International Review of Scottish Studies and the PhD representative for the school.
