New Administrative Assistant to the Associate Dean (Research and Graduate Studies)

The OAC Dean’s Office is pleased to announce Lauren Schurman as the new Administrative Assistant to the Associate Dean (Research and Graduate Studies). Lauren will begin in the role on Monday, September 17, 2018.

As the Administrative Assistant to the Associate Dean, Research and Graduate Studies, Lauren will provide administrative support in the operations and management of research and graduate studies projects. She will aid in the coordination, enhancement and promotion of OAC research activities and will provide support on graduate related matters such as scholarship adjudication, funding and enrolment data.

Lauren joins the University of Guelph from Toyota Tsusho Canada Incorporated where she held several administrative positions, including, most recently, senior account administrator. Prior to this, she worked in the Department of Geography at the University of Western Ontario as an administrative assistant. She holds a B.A. from the University of Western Ontario.
