Respiratory Protection Program
The University makes every effort reasonable to protect the health and safety of faculty, staff, students, and visitors from respiratory hazards. Although elimination or substitution of these hazards or the use of engineering controls is preferred, there may be situations where the use of respirators is still required for adequate protection. The University has established a Respiratory Protection Program to outline the requirements for the selection, use and care of respirators. Individuals must complete the Respirator User Screening Questionnaire either (online or PDF) and submit it to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) via email at respirator@uoguelph.ca prior to the Respirator Fit Testing.
