Developing Skills for Working in a Digital World

Digital technology is ever present in our workplace today and employees increasingly need the appropriate set of digital skills to meet changing demands.  Canada has joined a long list of countries that have developed a digital skills capability framework that includes four areas:  1) use of digital systems and tools, 2) use of software applications, 3) application of security measures in a digital environment, and 3) processing digital information.

  • Solving problems and supporting others
  • Improving productivity and efficiency
  • Communicating and collaborating
