NEW Days is designed to welcome and connect new employees to the University environment and give them a positive start.
Various activities and representatives from across campus will share perspectives and important information that will introduce the new employee to the university culture, history, facilities, and various services. Links to required online training elements from A.O.D.A. (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act), DHR (Diversity and Human Rights), Online Security and EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) will be provided. The program is targeted specifically to new employees who are regular, full-time or part-time staff or full-time with an appointment of greater than 6 months. However, any employee that can benefit is welcome to register.
Cancellation Policy
Please cancel no later than 5 days in advance to ensure we can give your spot to someone on the waiting list.
Refreshments
Coffee and tea in the morning as well as a light lunch of sandwiches and salad will be included. Please bring snacks if you desire.
