How to access LinkedIn Learning through your Public Library

The LinkedIn Learning partnership with the Ministry has ended. If you are interested in continuing to use LinkedIn, some public library systems offer free access to LinkedIn Learning. You can check if your library offers this service by searching on a web browser e.g., “Guelph Public Library LinkedIn Learning Login”. You will then require your library card number and pin to login. Below is a list of LinkedIn Learning portals of local public library systems.

Self-Enrollment Guide 

Step 1: Go to https://courselink.uoguelph.ca and login with your Single Sign On credentials.

Step 2: Select "Self-Registration" from the navigation bar located at the top of your CourseLink home page.

Use your central U of G login and password to sign in. Be sure to save your certificate as proof of completion.

The following are recorded digital sessions we are gathering to support your effectiveness, performance success, learning, and well-being during these challenging pandemic times. Linkedin Learning courses can be accessed for free through many public library systems. To learn more, email landd@uoguelph.ca.

For non technical programs, a non-attendance fee or a cancellation fee will apply for sessions that are not attended or cancellations received with less than two business days notice prior to the session. For technical programs the full registration fee will be charged for sessions that are not attended or for cancellations received with less than five business days notice prior to the session when we are not able to fill your spot.

There are fees associated with some of our technical programs as they are offered on a cost-recovery basis due to the necessity to engage professional technology instructors.

You will have received a confirmation email for each program for which you have registered. Please be sure to enter all Learning & Development dates in your calendar. A reminder notice will be emailed to you before each program begins. You can also email landd@uoguelph.ca to ask us for a list of the programs for which you have registered.

Some programs require your participation in all sessions and others allow you to register for a single session. Please see the program description on the event calendar for more information.
