Leading Your Team Through Change

This workshop's foundation is Prosci’s Leading Your Team Through Change Workshop. This workshop aims to create transformational experiences that empower individuals to succeed in change. Team Leaders will learn through a series of activities how to prepare themselves for change and how to lead their team through change by embodying each of Prosci’s CLARC roles.

This session will go through how to create accessible documents using Word and PowerPoint and saving them as accessible PDF files. NEW Days - November (Virtual)

NEW Days is the kick-off to the NEW @ the U program at the University of Guelph. Human Rights & You: Addressing Discrimination and Harassment on Campus

This interactive workshop invites participants to go beyond the text of Ontario's human rights legislation, exploring how legal requirements impact our daily work. Together, we will tackle critical questions such as: How do we recognize harassment or discrimination? When does behaviour constitute a human rights violation? What constitutes a reasonable response to a complaint? How can we proactively prevent human rights violations from occurring? Participants will leave with practical tools and strategies to address these important issues effectively.

Equity Essentials- Call it out? Identifying and Responding to Microaggressions

This session will explore how to engage critically in anti-oppression and provide frameworks for engaging in anti-oppressive practices at the University. Anti-oppression is an ongoing and active process of recognizing and addressing individual, institution, and systemic oppression. Applying an anti-oppressive frame to our work is essential to cultivating an inclusive campus where every individual experiences a sense of belonging. This session will identify the systems and attitudes that contribute to microaggressions and discuss strategies for responding effectively.

Reducing Stress in the Workplace for Leaders

Stress is one of the biggest problems individuals face in the workplace today and leads to reduced productivity and increased absenteeism. This three-hour workshop will provide managers with an understanding of how stress affects productivity, and how to identify and help stressed employees.
