NEW Days is the kick-off to the NEW @ the U program at the University of Guelph. One day at the beginning of each month of the year (excluding January, April, July, August, and December) (Temporarily in a ½ day virtual format) has been dedicated to welcoming and connecting new employees to the University environment and giving them a positive start.

Creating a respectful workplace is everyone’s responsibility. This workshop will raise awareness around what respectful behaviour looks like, promote the adoption of a professional attitude, assist with the development of effective communication skills, and suggest common standards for respectful behaviour.

This session will go through how to create accessible documents using Word and PowerPoint and saving them as accessible PDF files. Please bring a laptop with MS 365 applications installed as the workshop will go through remediating Word and PowerPoint documents to meet accessibility compliance.
