Due to the holiday closure, the December 26th pay will be deposited on December 24th.

We are pleased to announce that all employees are now able to view and change their banking and personal contact information through the new Human Resources Employee Self-Service portal using their UofG central log in and password. In addition to making address and banking information changes, this portal also allows you to access your electronic pay statement, your retirement pension portal and the Sun Life Financial website.

Due to the upcoming holidays payroll cutoff dates have been revised for the December 27, 2018 and January 10, 2019 pays.

As part of the ongoing commitment and effort of the University to enhance mental health support and resources for faculty and staff, effective January 1, 2018 the University’s Extended Health Care plan will no longer require a physician’s referral to access Psychological Services coverage.  This change will be applicable for any claims submitted on or after the effective date.  

Details on the benefit plans provided by the University are outlined in the Benefit's Section.

On November 27, 2017, under Bill 148: Fair Workplaces, Better Jobs Act, the Ontario government passed legislation increasing Ontario’s minimum wage effective January 1, 2018. Further information may be found in the January 1, 2018 Minimum Wage Rate Increase section.

Effective October 3, 2016, Allianz Global Assistance will replace our current provider (Europ Assistance USA, Inc). All emergency contact phone numbers will remain the same. If you intend to travel close to and/or during the transition date and would like an updated travel card, you can find one on this Understanding My Coverage document.
