T4 and T4A slip distribution for 2023 tax year

All T4 and T4A slips for the 2023 tax year will be mailed to individuals' current address on file no later than February 28. Please ensure your mailing address is up to date before 4:30 p.m. on February 15.

Changes to Sun Life pharmacy benefits manager

Effective March 1, 2023, Sun Life is changing their pharmacy benefits manager to Express Scripts Canada.

What’s changing?
A Pharmacy Benefits Manager helps Sun Life process your drug claims directly with your pharmacy. 

What does this mean? 
No action is required on your part. Sun Life is working with pharmacies across the country to make this change, and it will happen automatically in their systems.

Be Aware of Phishing Scams related to your Employment

You may or may not have received and email today, June 5th, 2022 called “Warning message encrypted: Salary Increase Letter”. 

This email is not legitimate or from anyone in HR. Please do not open the attachment and delete the email. The CCS Security Office has been notified.

Bill 124 Moderation Periods

On November 7, 2019, Bill 124: Protecting a Sustainable Public Sector for Future Generations Act, 2019, the Ontario government passed legislation to implement moderation measures in respect of compensation in Ontario’s public sector to curb compensation increases over a three (3) year period. The Act provides for a three (3) year window of salary moderation (a “moderation period”) and compensation restraint.

NEW Employee Self-Service On-Line Portal

 

We are pleased to announce that all employees are now able to view and change their banking and personal contact information through the new Human Resources Employee Self-Service portal using their UofG central log in and password. In addition to making address and banking information changes, this portal also allows you to access your electronic pay statement, your retirement pension portal and the Sun Life Financial website.
