Embrace the adventure of a lifetime and volunteer your skills and talents through Leave for Change.

Applications for 2017 Leave for Change volunteer assignments are due March 1, 2017.

Leave for Change is a unique program that enables employers to support international development while providing a life-changing personal and professional development opportunity for employees.

The University of Guelph was the first university in Canada to take part in Leave for Change in 2007, and since then, 63 faculty and staff have transformed their vacation time to volunteer for projects to build capacity in a developing country.

·       See who has gone and get a feel for the range of opportunities available by reading their blogs.

·       Hear participants’ stories in this short video of how Leave for Change changed them while they contributed their skills, expertise and experiences to make the world a better place.

·       Come out to a live information session featuring panels of University of Guelph staff and faculty who will share their experiences and words of wisdom for those of you seeking to make a difference in a tangible way.

Leave for Change is offered in partnership with Uniterra, a joint initiative of World University Service of Canada (WUSC) and the Centre for International Studies and Co-operation (CECI).
