Total Compensation Statements distributed

Human Resources is distributing the 2017 Total Compensation Statement for active regular full time staff and select contractually-limited employees.  These statements will be delivered to employees a few business days after April 12th, 2018.

Changes Regarding Psychological Services

As part of the ongoing commitment and effort of the University to enhance mental health support and resources for faculty and staff, effective January 1, 2018 the University’s Extended Health Care plan will no longer require a physician’s referral to access Psychological Services coverage.  This change will be applicable for any claims submitted on or after the effective date.  

Details on the benefit plans provided by the University are outlined in the Benefit's Section.

Sun Life E-Claims Maintenance Notice

Please note that Sun Life is performing maintenance work that requires the E-Claims system to be unavailable until approximately 9:00 am on Wednesday November 15th.

University, Exempt Group Ratify Agreement

We are pleased to advise that the University of Guelph and the Exempt Group, which negotiates terms and conditions of employment for 34 full-time, temporary full time and part-time, administrative, clerical and technical employees employed in a confidential capacity at the University, ratified a new agreement on November 10, 2017. This three year renewal agreement amends the previous agreement that expired April 30, 2017.
